The EAN needle is composed of a small stainless steel needle housed in a plastic injector. The practitioner may grasp this injector easily and implant the needle into the patient’s ear precisely. By inserting the needle into the external ear one can prevent any risk of contamination. An adhesive patch can protect the needle. The needle ensures a permanent action for as long as it remains in place. A black plaster housed in the injector can be turned around in the implanted needle. Like all other models of SHENZHOU needles, EAN needles are manufactured in a sterile room and sterilized by gamma irradiation. They are delivered sterile for a single use.
